We are huge fans of the MIT license, especially the simplicity makes it a perfect license for small software projects.
Yet due to the grow of PSONO we have taken the time to look up other open source licenses that are compatible to MIT, but protect contributors better. Thats why we will switch to Apache with the next release.
The official documentation already reflects this change. All Contributions to Psono will be licensed under:

The project requires that the name used is your real name. Neither anonymous contributors nor those utilizing pseudonyms will be accepted.
Set your user.name and user.email in your git config and then always user the -s or ––signoff flag to add the “Signed-off-by line” to the end of the commit message.
